Artistico 140 lb. Hot Press 20 Sheet Block 9x12" - Traditional White (30002330)

This is absolutely excellent, 100% cotton paper that is as smooth as could be. It's not only great for watercolors, but I find that I love it for pencil sketching because it erases fully when an error is made, and no mark is left. Blending with a kneaded eraser is a dream on this paper. I love it for both purposes. It isn't quite as white and bright as other papers I've seen and worked with, but the fact that it's hot pressed and so smooth makes up for it. I recommend this paper to anyone who wants a fine satiny finish to their paper.

Good product but not as responsive as Fabriano by the sheet.

Smooth! Great for stamping on. Takes lots of water like a cold press would, however. Have only used it with my new Karin brush watercolor markers but certainly my newest favorite! The bright white color is more white than most watercolor papers however it still isn’t a true white... doesn’t affect me as I’m going to be coloring it anyway. Highly recommend.

This is the best of the several types of watercolor papers I've used. It's also very good for colored pencils. When I look at it and run my fingers over it, it seems like it might be too smooth - but for either medium, it will hold up to several layers easily. No doubt about it - this will be my favorite paper from now on. I'm going to try it for pastels too. though I odubt that it can be as good for psastels as sanded paper..

My absolute favorite paper for colored pencil "paintings" (I do botanical artwork). The paper is incredibly strong (you can erase multiple times, put on multiple layers, and then take it off with a solvent and do it all over again and it doesn't buckle or shred), yet very smooth. One thing to know about Fabriano Artistico, though, is that even the whitest color is still off-white, so if you need absolute white paper, you're better off using the "Fat pad."

This is a block. So far, it seems to hold up to a good amount of water. The paper is very smooth, so lots of details are possible

Would give no stars if i could was expecting wayyy better from this brand but the paper didn't hold up to the water well (it absorbed it weirdly) and wouldnt layer cant explain how bad this paper is.

This paper is okay for watercolor, although I've used better. You have to be extremely careful not to get anything too wet, or you'll end up with terrible color bleed. It also works pretty good for acrylic paints.

Purchased this on recommendation for coloured pencil artwork. Takes bit of getting used to when layering colours on top of each other

This is by far my favourite watercolour paper. I try to use it all the time. The paint slides on so smoothly and any spills are easy removed without disturbing the quality surface of the paper. I love it!!! Thankyou Viv

J'utilise ce papier pour l'aquarelle : je trempe complètement ma feuille dans l'eau. Pour cette technique, la qualité du papier me convient parfaitement.
